TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Version 1.0 — last updated [DATE]
These terms apply to the 1:1 Mentorship. Please read them before you pay. By paying, you confirm that you accept them.
1. WHO YOU ARE CONTRACTING WITH
Business name: [BUSINESS NAME]
Organisation number: [ORG.NR] (sole proprietorship / enkeltpersonforetak, Norway)
Registered address: [ADDRESS]
Email: [EMAIL]
[VAT number, if registered: [MVA NR]]
In these terms, "I" and "me" means Anette Simonsen. "You" means the person purchasing the mentorship.
2. WHAT THE MENTORSHIP IS
Six private 1:1 sessions on Zoom, 60 minutes each, over approximately 8 weeks
Voice message support between sessions on Whatsapp, with a reply normally within 3 working days
Personalised practices and reflections
Vision and action planning
Nervous system and mindset tools
Accountability and encouragement between sessions
3. WHAT THE MENTORSHIP IS NOT
This is coaching and personal development. It is not therapy, counselling, physiotherapy, medical or psychological treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed professional.
I do not diagnose, treat or cure any physical or mental health condition. I do not give medical, psychological, legal, financial or tax advice. Nothing I say should be relied on as such.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy but I am not a licensed or authorised physiotherapist and I do not work as one. Nothing in this mentorship is delivered in a health professional capacity.
If you are dealing with a medical or mental health condition, please work with a qualified practitioner alongside this work, or instead of it. Always follow the advice of your doctor or therapist over anything discussed here.
No guarantee of results. The mentorship is a supported process, not a product with a fixed outcome. What you get out of it depends on your own participation, circumstances and choices. I make no promises about specific results, income, career changes or life outcomes.
4. WHO THIS IS FOR
You must be 18 or over.
The mentorship is not appropriate if you are currently experiencing an acute mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, an active eating disorder, active addiction, or any situation requiring urgent professional care. If that is your situation, please seek appropriate support. I am glad to point you toward resources, and we can revisit the mentorship later.
5. HOW WE START, AND WHEN THE CONTRACT BEGINS
1. You contact me and we hold a free connection call. There is no obligation on either side.
2. If we both decide it is a good fit, I send you an email confirming what we agreed, together with these terms, the Privacy Policy and the standard withdrawal form.
3. I then send you a payment link or an invoice.
4. The contract is formed when your payment, or your first instalment, is received.
I may decline to take you on if I do not think the mentorship is the right fit. If I do, any payment is refunded in full.
6. PRICE AND PAYMENT
The price is [PRICE] for the full programme of six sessions. [State one of: "This price includes VAT at 25%." / "VAT is not applicable." / "VAT of X% will be added." Confirm your VAT position before publishing.]
Payment is made through Stripe or Vipps.
Payment in full is due before the first session, unless a payment plan has been agreed.
Payment plan: available on request and agreed in writing before we start. Instalments are interest-free and carry no fees. Instalments fall due on the agreed dates regardless of how many sessions you have used.
Prices are in NOK. Your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion or transaction fees, which are your responsibility.
If an instalment is more than 14 days overdue and you have not been in touch, I may pause sessions until payment is made.
7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (14 DAYS)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period runs from the day the contract is concluded.
To withdraw, send me a clear statement by email to anette_s@hotmail.no before the 14 days expire. You may use the standard withdrawal form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to. Sending the notice before the deadline is enough.
If you withdraw, I will refund all payments received within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the same payment method you used.
If you asked me to start before the 14 days were up:
You will have confirmed this expressly in writing, and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
If you withdraw after we have started but before the programme is complete, I will refund what you paid minus a proportionate amount for the sessions and support already delivered.
Once all six sessions have been delivered, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
8. SCHEDULING, RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION
Sessions are booked at times we agree.
Rescheduling: please give at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions rescheduled with proper notice are moved at no cost.
Late cancellation or no-show: a session cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, counts as delivered.
Lateness: if you are late, we finish at the scheduled time.
Expiry: all six sessions must be used within 4 months of the first session. Unused sessions after that date expire without refund, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing due to illness or exceptional circumstances.
Pausing: if something significant comes up, tell me. I would rather pause the programme for a period than have you lose sessions.
9. IF I HAVE TO CANCEL
If I need to cancel a session, I will offer you a new time as soon as possible. If I become unable to complete the programme, I will refund the portion you have paid for and not received.
10. BETWEEN-SESSION SUPPORT
Voice message support is for questions, reflections and working things through between sessions. It is not an on-call or crisis service. I normally reply within 3 working days.
11. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for:
Your own decisions and actions, during and after the mentorship
Being honest about what is going on for you, so I can support you well
Telling me if something in our work is not landing
Having a private space for sessions
Seeking professional help where your situation calls for it
12. CONFIDENTIALITY
Everything you share with me is confidential. I will not share it with anyone, and I will not use identifiable details in marketing, case studies or social media without your separate written permission.
The exceptions are narrow: where I am legally required to disclose, or where there is a serious and immediate risk to your life or someone else's.
I ask the same of you regarding anything I share with you.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All materials I provide — worksheets, practices, recordings, frameworks and written content — remain my property. You may use them for your own personal use. You may not copy, share, resell, publish or use them in your own teaching or business without my written permission.
You may not record our sessions without my consent.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, my total liability arising out of or in connection with this contract is limited to the total amount you have paid me. I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from decisions you make.
Nothing in these terms affects your mandatory rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
15. FORCE MAJEURE
Neither of us is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including illness, natural disaster, war, or failure of essential infrastructure such as internet or power. Where this happens, sessions will be rescheduled.
16. ENDING THE MENTORSHIP EARLY
I may end the mentorship, with a proportionate refund for sessions not delivered, if:
The work turns out to be outside what mentorship can appropriately support, and you need professional care instead
You behave in a way that is abusive or threatening
Payment is significantly overdue and you have not been in contact
If I end it for one of these reasons, I will tell you why in writing and, where relevant, suggest where you might find better-suited support.
17. PERSONAL DATA
How I handle your personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy. Because our work touches on your wellbeing, I ask for separate explicit consent to process that information during onboarding.
18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
I may update these terms for future clients. The version that applies to you is the one you accepted at the time of purchase, and I will have sent you a copy by email.
19. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you are a consumer resident in another EEA country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country, and you may bring proceedings there.
If something goes wrong, please contact me first. Most things can be sorted out directly.
If we cannot resolve it, consumers in Norway may bring the matter to Forbrukerrådet (forbrukerradet.no) for mediation, and from there to Forbrukerklageutvalget. Consumers elsewhere in the EEA can find their national dispute resolution body through the European Commission's consumer redress directory.
